These Terms govern your use of masc.co.zw and your enrolment in our programmes, short courses, or services. By accessing this website or submitting an application, you agree to be bound by these Terms together with our Privacy & Data Protection Notice.
1 Acceptance of Terms
By browsing this website, submitting a registration form, enrolling in a course, or otherwise engaging with MASC, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy & Data Protection Notice.
2 Admission & Enrolment
- Admission is subject to the applicant meeting the academic entry requirements for the chosen programme as determined by MASC and, where applicable, HEXCO.
- All information provided on the registration form must be true, accurate, and complete. Providing false or misleading information may result in rejection or cancellation of registration.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee admission. MASC reserves the right to approve, defer, or decline any application.
3 Fees & Payments
- A non-refundable registration fee is required at the point of application.
- Course fees must be paid in accordance with the payment schedule issued upon admission. Fees may be reviewed periodically and apply to the relevant intake.
- Payments are accepted by cash, bank transfer, or mobile money as indicated on the registration form. Proof of payment must be retained.
- Failure to pay fees by the due date may result in suspension of access to coursework, examinations, or certification.
4 Refunds & Cancellations
- Registration fees are non-refundable once paid.
- Tuition refunds, where applicable, are considered on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with the policy of the institution in force at the time.
- MASC reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or postpone a course or intake. In such cases, students will be offered a place in the next available intake or a refund of fees already paid.
5 Academic Integrity & Conduct
- Students must uphold the highest standards of academic integrity. Plagiarism, cheating, or any form of academic dishonesty may lead to disciplinary action, including dismissal.
- Students are expected to conduct themselves professionally and treat staff, fellow students, and facilities with respect.
- Students must comply with all policies of MASC and its regulatory bodies, including HEXCO and the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education.
6 Certification & Examinations
- Certificates are awarded upon successful completion of all required modules, examinations, and any prescribed practical or OJET components.
- Accredited diplomas and certificates are administered and governed by HEXCO and the relevant national regulations.
- MASC reserves the right to withhold certification where fees are outstanding or where academic or disciplinary requirements have not been met.
7 Website Use & Intellectual Property
- All content on masc.co.zw, including text, images, logos, and course materials, is the property of MASC and is protected by copyright laws.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content from this website without prior written consent from MASC.
- You agree to use this website lawfully and not to introduce any malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, or disrupt the operation of the website.
8 Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
- MASC provides the website and its content on an as is basis and makes no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of the information presented. Course details may be subject to change.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, MASC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or any enrolled programme.
- Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may hold as a consumer under the laws of Zimbabwe.
9 Data Protection
Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07] and our Privacy & Data Protection Notice. By enrolling or submitting information, you consent to such processing.
10 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.
